Many of our legal advisors have strong links with ACAS advisors, which will be useful after 6 April 2014 when anyone considering a tribunal claim will have to go through early conciliation with ACAS before doing so.  Some cases may be able to be resolved through ACAS through a legally binding document known as a COT 3 agreement, which is great news for employers as a case settled this way means that the company does not have to make a contribution towards an employee’s legal fees!
